You’re right, summer is over. But I’m so not happy about it. I’ll have to be all covered in uncomfortable clothes for months, I won’t want to go out the door, it’ll be dark really early in the afternoons… I’m really depressed. How could you want summer to be over? You’re a crazy person.
Hell yes Heidi! Try being 33 weeks preggo in this heat. And WHY oh WHY does it still feel so hot? Gracia from the comment above must not know we are in florida and summer being over still means 85-95 degree days. Oh how we would love to wear all those fabulous fall fashions!
Here where I live we get 80 degrees in January easily… and people are actually still wearing shorts and tank tops. But I’m a bit dramatic and anything below 75 is freezing cold for me. The thermometer reads 78 inside the house with all the windows open at 00:12AM… and I miss summer. I guess I’m just a weirdo. 😀 Oh, and I’ll close the bedroom window. Too cold for me to sleep. My poor German husband will some day accuse me of trying to bake him.
Gracia, you are a weirdo! I can’t wait for the temps to drop below 70! Below 60! Hell, I’ll take 30. I’m ready to be bundled. I’m ready to bust out my 15-year-old sweatshirts.
ha! I just wrote about that on my blog because I dislike summer with a passion and every year I count the days until Fall. It’s finally hear – wahoo! Sweater season at last!
This is one of my top 5 songs – I especially love running to it. As a recent Southern transplant, I MISS THE FALL like you wouldn’t believe. And I never thought I’d say it but 70 degrees with low humidity and a breeze feels like a DREAM to me now. Oy.

This song was performed live at the MTV video awards. It was awesome. That woman is really beautiful.
